Hi everyone, My 1st post

Part(s) for my car:

I’m seriously considering modifying/improving my Supra.

To be honest, I can’t afford any major modifications until later on in the year and only want to see what’s possible and affordable to me. Initially, I would expect the first major part to consider is air-intake and exhaust system (possible removing the cats). The car has already had a "SLD" (Speed Limit Defender) to re-move the Japanese speed limiter (125mph). The first part I want to consider is the air-intake system and then exhaust.

Although a maintenance-free dry type air filter is a nice idea, to be honest I don't like the funnel type filters. (ie K&N and Apexi) the mushroom type looks better (ie HKS)

The best looking system is the HKS Racing Suction Kit (Yellow) but doesn’t fit my NA car

The Apexi has the best reviews and best price but not sure about the looks.

(PROBABLY GO WITH THIS ONE!!)

The HKS Super Power Flow (green) also looks cool but doesn’t support the aluminium pipe work.

The Blitz “SUS power induction kit“ Doesn't fit my car (SHAME)

Exhaust: sounds cool and looks great so I think the Blitz NUR SPEC wins for me.

What system(s) would you recommend?

Application on a:

Supra Mk4 NONE TURBO - (NA)

1993 (Import)

Gearbox Automatic

Engine type 2JZ-GE

Model JZA80

Regards

Ed

For the exhaust I strongly recomend APEXi N1 turbo exhaust. It sounds really good at all rpm. Oh be sure to check on the 2jzge header from nonturbo.com the claimed gains are remarkable. For the intake I fashioned my own from a shortened Civic intake tube and a very large K&N filter and it works really well for mid to high rpm.
