In about a month or 2 i will be doing a NA to TT conversion on my white supra NA. I need a list of companys or people who do this conversions so i can work out how much money i need to loan for the conversion. Also would it be expensive for traction control and ABS? as i don't have them

Thank you

im with you on that mate!! been putting it off for ages but it think now is the time to start the savings process. anyone know a rough figure for tt auto conversion, i assume the n/a auto box is different?? but want to stay auto with the tt.

Thats a good question. but i think its hard for guys in the know to put prices to things with out being specific. and could eat up a fair bit of time.

yeah i agree i know its hard to estimate a job like that, im investigating going tt auto. i was wondering are the engine and gearboxes rebuilt (re-furbished) or are they just from another vehicle and put straight in?? some people have had these conversions done so just picking the brain a bit before i committ.

HI

I had my own conversion done with Jezz on the forum and the guys at Silverstone Performance over 3 years ago now. I cant rate them highly enough. They did a good job and listen to what i wanted and advised on ways of getting it. I would try and speak to him when your ready to get quotes.

HI

I know this kind of thing is not cheap but i think on reflection in terms of cost i would have been better off buying a TT to start with with. But as i had the NA and i had put so much into that car in terms of money and care in the end i think its a better way to go as i know the providence of the vehicle and well lets face it i love my car!

thats a goo dpoint you bring up twijesiri, I have a completly stock n/a would it the wiser choice to sell and buy a TT. Or is the hassle of trying to find a good TT when i could get the parts onto mine not worth it? Not after a precise answer to a point of view.

Id simply sell the stock N/A and buy a TT.

The only reason i wouldnt sell mine is had a ton of body mods and its an Aero, so i works out cheaper for me to put the TT engine in rather than buy a TT aero.

Well i am definatly going towards the NA to TT route as i don't really like any of the supras online atm and going BPU at the same time. saves money on labour in the future
