Guess the engine

I am going to guess boxer engine :D

 

The title was a bit of a giveaway but the burble was instantly noticeably! Tell us more, is this your car? As it looks similar? An is this out of a Subaru WRX/STi? How did you do it? So many questions.

Yep its a project car. i have soo many thoughts. just have to think whats going to happen to it next;)

Named due to the piston layout.

 

Cylinders are laid flat and oppose each other. As has been mentioned they are used by Subaru and Porsche (plus some old VWs and Ferraris) The name 'Boxster' that Porsche use is actually a combination of 'Boxer' and 'Roadster'
