HadeS
Hi everyone! What do you think about it? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1992-LEXUS-SOARER-TWIN-TURBO-PEARL-WHITE-NO-RESERVE_W0QQitemZ280448250488QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAutomobiles_UK?hash=item414c04b278 It is not in very good condition but apparently engine is in full working order. It would be perfect for engine swap. would any of you buy it for 750? Is it too much or is it fine? Cheers Michael.
JamieP
If the engine is good for your needs it seems a good deal, im sure you could part the rest of it out on the lexus OC for a decent amount, may even work out you get a free engine. HadeS
That would be nice. Will n/a 5 speed gear box fit the 1jz with no problems?
JamieP
That would be nice. Will n/a 5 speed gear box fit the 1jz with no problems? Yup, seems to. There is a few threads about with people talking about it, try searching "w58 1jz". http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=206085

hadyn
You can get one that works with an MOT for £750 mate. They're criminally cheap cars.
HadeS
I have been looking for one but all of them where 1500+
Swampy442
If youre buying just for the engine then maybe, but you cant drive it. Ive got one that could be available, currently with T&T that drives faultlessy for the right price and thats nowhere near £1500. PM me if youre interested. The gearbox isnt a 'no probs' job but its far easier than a V160 swap
Chris Wilson
Considering that over 7 years ago I bought the Soarer TT below for 900 quid, with plenty of test, perfect runner, but with an inoperative heater ecu (damaged cable when someone fitted an in car phone) I think even the first bid is far too high! HadeS
Would you like to sell it ?
Chris Wilson
I did, a week after the pics were taken, he upped the boost and did all sorts of things to the poor old girl, but she just kept on going.... Great engines! It had just come back from the valeters in those photos, it was just `orrible before, looked like I'd owned it for 12 months
