seat removal

just a quickie, i can't seem to find the easy way to remove the plastic covers that are over the seat/subframe bolts.

 

L shaped rear one removed fine but smaller and squarer ones won't budge.......... is there an easy way or am i just not pulling hard enough ( i think i am as its flexing a fair bit)

 

trying to do the full internal valet tonight so quick response appreciated.....

I found them a pain in the arse, so I got a bigger screwdriver and they popped off ok.

just info if anyone else does this for the first time.

 

Get down to eye level with the front of the seat (seat fully back on runners) you will see on the inside of the plastic cover two vertical slots, and it is here you should lever in the screwdriver and twist it slightly towards the seats centre and it should just pop off under light pressure.

 

Do not pull up on the end of the cover as this just serves to 'pull in' the side clips ie the more you pull the more it holds on!
