Guest George89
Hi i am currently running 255/40/17 at the rears and i have yokohama tyres with rim protection. But i think the alloys are wider then the current set up as the rim protection is not really protecting the rim. So i was wondering would it be a problem if i fit 265/40/17 instead of the 255? Guest George89
Theirs a bit on the tyre which sticks out so if you go to kerb the alloy it hits the tyre protection that goes around it instead to protect your alloys from getting kerbed

DSK
Depends. First of all, what can you tell us the dimensions of your alloys wheels in question (usually stamped/printed on the inside face of the alloy wheel rims e.g. 9.5J x 18)
