wilson4347
I am planning on going bpu over the winter as well as tidying up the engine bay. Running bpu am i best with the stock air intake or putting something like the apexi power intake in its place?
Gaz6002
Stock will work best.
Homer
The stock filter and intake is fine for this. I did a back to back test with the stock and a 3 month old Apexi at SRR on my bpu car many years ago and there was no difference in power - 428bhp flywheel both times. Without a filter it hit 437bhp. Homer
Just to add - in traffic the stock system worked much better that the Apexi and ARC induction kits I had previously, the car didn't perform very well when engine bay temps were very high, i.e. bit gutless when pulling away. Obviously due to all the hot air being sucked in...
