aw i don't have any photos on me right now, will post some later, i've got a 2000 MR2 roadster in red, got the hard top on at the moment. has a bit of an oval bore problem but apart from that it's amazing.

Hello mate, welcome to the forum :) you'll not find a better one!

Where abouts are you from? Are you looking an N/A or TT? Do a google search for supras-ireland too bud, it's a very very quiet site but we're all friendly and if you're looking at Supra's for sale in NI then chances are one of us will know it (although it may be a couple of days before anyone replies to you lol). There's also an Irish section at the top of the forum here to keep up with any meets or events, although chances are there'll be no more until the other side of winter.

Cheers jim, i live in larne, although i'm not born and breed there so don't talk like a larny lol. i'm really not sure what i'm looking for, i do prefer manual and there was a nice red one for sale in england. a turbo would be nice i'm just not sure insurance wise what it would be like. i just thought it cool to drive about in one for a year.

welcome

try to get yourself a drive in a n/a and a tt model and then take it from there. If you are looking at a Supra for speed/pace then look at TT otherwise the N/A cars are also a great drive. As you are familiar with Toyota, reliability is a not an issue so just look out for the obvious and ensure the service record is good and upto scratch.

okay will do thanks for the reply. MR2 is so tight on the road and the gear change is lovely so sort of hoping that the supra will be like that but as i've seen many our manuals not that thats a problem, i just prefer manual.

They do talk odd up there... :p

Don't rule out auto before trying it bud, you might find that you like it. As DSK says, it really depends on your driving style, the n/a's still a relatively fast car but obviously not in the same league as a tt. They both look the same, fuel consumption's similar, believe it or not insurance is similar too. If something goes wrong with a tt then chances are it'll be more expensive to sort out though. There is good local knowledge too when it comes to servicing or performance upgrades, Supra Specialists Ireland is only a few miles away from you at Loanends (near Aldergrove).

Go buy one! If you pick the right one it'll be extremely reliable and something you'll never regret :)

Plenty of room for baby seats in the back! :)

There's a white n/a manual for sale in Glengormley, you could go take it for a test drive to see what you think, it might not be your cup of tea but it's cheap (particularly for the year), at least you'd know if it was a Supra that you wanted and you could start looking properly (9 times out of 10 cars for sale on here are far superior than those for sale on ebay or autotrader etc).
