I had my spark plugs changed and noticed that there was oil on the end of the 2nd one in from the furthest side of the engine bay.. The chap said its prob the rocker cover gasket leaking and when he's pulled it out the oil's dripped onto the plug - Don't worry mate he said...

today whilst cleaning the car i noticed the exhaust looking blacker than normal on the inside....

Am i being paranoid about it all ? or is there something wrong witht he car again ? If so what could it possibly be ? I haven't noticed any smoke at all...

Thanks.

aye, sounds like the rocker cover gasket:

Check these before you order :

11214-46011 Gasket (doesnt appear in my EPC)

Might as well get the others in the area done as well:
11213-46020 Gasket (Cylinder head 01 cover)
17176-46020 Gasket (Exhaust manifold heat insulator)
90099-14109 O ring (Distributor O ring)

I know cos I'm just about to go order mine, its a very minor thing and will happen every now and again.

Parts price (according to EPC) : 16.70 + VAT

Thanks... Didn't even know about the other gaskets

I'll get them all changed before i go to le mans..

If its not the gaskets what could cause oil in the cylinder ? - Just in case there is. lol...
