2010 suggestions

Hello all

Just though that I'd start the ball rolling (I'm sure someone else will be rolling it soon) with next years events. I was thinking may be it should be divided into sections for types of events.

However I think the most important thing (I'm sure you'll agree) is to get a regular monthly meet agreed, as this is a focal point that new members can introduce themselves and for old ones to laugh at each other :innocent:

So how about:-

Monthly Meet

Having a 3 month rolling meet at three different places something like this:-

January:- Ribble Pilot

February:- Wiggin Tree

March:- Something south / Manchester way (E.G. Worsley Old Hall Brewers Fayre)

If we could agree a date / time (that didn't conflicted with Mascrat so the 'member' could attend both ) and then stick to it?

Also should every month have Pancakes :innocent: I really do hope so :D

Trips

1) Le Mans

2) Isle of Man

3) Lakes Run

4) South Ireland (stop in Dublin :D)

Events

1) Track day Oulton Park

2) Track day Anglesey track

3) Rolling Road day i.e. a NW version of what Daryl does at SRR? i.e.Prizes for Greatest HP per Category I.e. NA / TT-BPU / Single-Twins. Also have food etc etc

How about here:- http://www.dynodemon.co.uk/home.php?/rolling_road/club_days? They have a nice facility and a leader board ;) :eyebrows:

4) Drag race events (York raceway)

Please add any suggestions and well see if we can start organizing :)

Also I think its important that may be some events are moved into the National section to offer it to all in the club :)

Again just ideas!

Cool which ones? Could we get enough from both areas to do a join NW/NE thing?

I mean e.g. the Rolling Road day could be held at motorscope?

Yes I'am sure we could have some events for the NW/NE Rolling road day, York Drag event and a track day based somewhere in the middle :)

Its going to be a busy year again next year. May have to subst JAE fo some of these events as was not impressed this year.

Really? I rather enjoyed JAE, but it's the first one I've been to (and I didn't go with the club). Japfest is definitely off my calendar though, been twice and not really enjoyed it.
