sw4mpthing
Anyone know anyone in the glasgow area or near by that could fix an out of shape alloy for me? Got a weld in it over a year ago and they its sat in my hut, now got a tyre and went to fit the wheel on my car and the air is leaking out where the weld is because it slighty out of shape. tried getting it sealed but its working. So Im running 3 good 19's and one shity 18.

sw4mpthing
but the other 3 are sound , and they are nice wheels. Anywhere I could buy one wheel the same?
Scott
Your best bet would probably be ebay. You could put up a thread in the wanted area. It's a long shot but worth a go IMO. 2nd option would be to sell the other 3 and buy a new set of 4 Better than running a welded wheel, not even fixed properly. sw4mpthing
MMMm.. I'll search about. and who'd buy a set of 3 alloys?
Scott
MMMm.. I'll search about. and who'd buy a set of 3 alloys? It does happen. People who need 1 or 2 often stump up the money for whatever they can get their mits on. You might even be able to sell them as singles. You could try to sell the full set but I would be VERY open about the repair.
sw4mpthing
I'll maybe try and take it to someone to see if they can save it.

JustGav
No worries. I'll rest easy knowing that I did try to warn you I'll reword Scott's post.. Don't be crazy and drive on a dented-then-repaired-alloy especially one that has been welded to be repaired, you are putting yourself at HUGE risk should something go wrong. Scott
I felt what I was saying was falling on deaf ears so didn't even bother Gav. It only takes a quick google to see the horror stories of what can go wrong.
