There is a guide from Matt Harwood where he used a hairdryer and a cardboard box which worked pretty well.

 

No reason why a gas oven shouldn't work, just keep it on a higher shelf so it doesnt sit in the flame, and keep the temperature down below 150degree and dont leave them in too long each time.

 

The main thing is to get the heat to soak in to the light and melt the sealant all the way round and through.
