De-cat sensor

I know there are numerous threads on this, but none seem to have an answer to my specific question, they all deal with the cat sensor on J-spec.

When doing a first de-cat the cat temp sensor is tied out of the way, or pulled through th bulk head and disconnected. Fine, I will tie it out the way.

My question is the 1st decat has a hole for a sensor, is this for a EGT sensor? or an AFR sensor?

Hi mate, your decat that is on its way has the sensor in the decat already, so you wll plug it in as normal, and remove the one you have now. If it is a j spec decat and has a hole then it is for the cat temp, if it is a UK spec decat then it is for the second lambda sensor
