Hello there folks! Hows the form with you all?? Just got myself a 94 n/a Supra, J import, with 18's, cream leather, manual, trd diff and a few other bits n bobs... all in all im a very pleased new owner! Have been driven a 200sx for the past 5 yrs and just fanceyed a change! Anyways as it was wet tonight, i obviously went out for a little play time and came across somethin rather strange..... i can see people rollin there eyes already haha whats the deal with the traction control???? I can't for the love of god find the OFF button IF there is one? Cheers dudes!

Thanks dude! Had a white 95 S14, let it go at the weekend there. Really enjoyed the car but hey a change is as good as a rest! How ya findin the change to the Supra??

Thanks, she seems to be on the button! Any ideas about this traction control carry on??

 

One of the two buttons under the TRD under your radio will turn the traction control off when you press it will illuminate some orange writing on the dash saying its off, you will need to do this everytime you start the car you cant simple "switch it off" all the time ( well i dont think you can )

Cheers Ian.... had a wee nosey there and there dumy buttons they don't apear to do anythin! So how do i go about gettin shot of the slip ecu??

Hello & Welcome TTC. Nice Supe! :)

 

Normal under the "R" in the TRD cut under your radio is the Limited Slip button. As mentioned it could be that you don't have Traction Control? Best way to check would be to put in your key, turn to ignition (2nd click, without starting the engine) so then all the lights on the dash light up like christmas trees. Then to the right hand corner of the dials you should see signs which say something along the lines of "Limited Slip".
