Just worthwhile considering I would think whilst you have the old pulley off and make it more accessible considering the price of the seal. It's only my preventative maintenance ethos though. Mine was done along with new oil pump + oil change when my crank pulley damper ring actually separated from the pulley... not sure of the complexity of replacing the seal in situ with all the oil in... so can't really advise in your situation chap, sorry If it appears fine tbh not much point. little num Posted November 4, 2009 Share Posted November 4, 2009 If you dont have any leaks now id not toch the FMS. yeh this unless your leeking oil from there then dont change it, or you will end up changing the pump and thats not a nice job unless the engine is out. Mine was weeping at the time, so it all came off and oil pump was also changed.
