polishing lights

I have refurbed my headlights and they look good, but when I look at others on here it seems like I should be able to get the lens clearer than I can.

I have used 2000 wet and dry, then polished it up with a drill/pulishing head and autosol, then buffed it with windowleen and a soft cloth. Looks good but not quite as clear as some.....

any tips?

It maybe because you haven't gone deep enough (not taken enough of the tarnished plastic off)

When doing numerous headlights i started with 800g, then 1200g, then 1500g. Then compound with g3 paste, then g10 using a polishing machine then polish up. This is the expert advice i got from the supra guru dave (supraloopy)

This should now give you crystal clear lenses ;)
