2JZ engine limits?

Hi Tom, 500-600hp seems to be the accepted safe limit on stock rods, although plenty run much more power than that these days (there's many running 600-700hp now). To get this sort of HP though, you'll need fuelling mods and a different turbo setup, along with a new clutch and a few quite expensive extras)

It's even fabled that someone on Supraforums ran over 1000hp on a stock bottom end for a short period.

So long as it's serviced correctly the engine should run double the stock HP reliably.
