Does anyone has experience with these guys on ebay?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=360109892500

Nice package price.

I meassured my brake discs and the are;

Currently the are;

340mm on the front

240mm on the back (yes I deff need some new ones)

I have a Jspec twin turbo Supra.

On egay the meassurements they are selling:

FRONT DISCS 296MM VENTED

REAR DISCS 307MM VENTED

But my front discs are bigger than these new ones. Does this mean my fronts are UK brakes?

Hope anyone can help.

Thanks

There is quite a difference between the jspecs and the uk brakes the uk are much larger and look one piece if you look at the jspec brakes you can see the edge of the carrier with the caliper sitting inside it. AFAIK the uk discs are 325mm dia at teh front so you may want to recheck the size or look for pics of the uk calipers

What do people think of the above package? decent upgrade from jspec maybe?

do you just use your original calipers with these?

Sorry can not check eGay from work, but I would recommend the OEM discs with upgraded brake pads and Motul 5.1 brake fluids with maybe some braided hoses, as our rubber ones are ageing for decent upgrade from jspec. This is if your not going to change the calipers and go for a bigger brake kit.

I had my brake fluids changed to Motul 5.1 from Paul Whiffin's last week and they are made quite a difference! Still running OEM discs and brake pads, but I have replacement EBC yellow when the fronts run out.

Off the top of my head when I replaced mine, this sounds correct!

Like nice said it sounds like you got a bigger front brakes and smaller rears! :rolleyes:

FRONT DISCS 296MM VENTED

REAR DISCS 307MM VENTED
