quez
If I purchase some 13mm extended studs intended for use on a 10mm spacer, will this cause any problems? Thanks.
Jamesy
Sorry cant answer but where did u buy your spacers and extended studs from dude?
pedrosixfour
It depends on the wheel nuts you are using. If they are open ended then no, you have no problem. If however you have capped wheel nuts you'll have to ensure that the wheel nuts tightens the wheel onto the hub properly before the stud bottoms out in the end of the wheel nut. Racman
Theres a guy I know in Rustington west sussex that sell the studs I got some off him let me know if you need some I will get his details
Nic
If you are going to fit spacers make sure they are the bolt on type, just using a simple spacer with longer studs is potentially very dangerous (see links below). http://planetsoarer.com/offset/studs.htm http://planetsoarer.com/offset/offset.htm http://www.wabfab.org/products/wheelspacers/5lugwheelspacers.jpg
Jamesy
Thing is nic i have same problem. Needed 15mm spacers but went for adapters now it seems the shallow nuts wont sit flush as the spacer is only 15mm thick.
pedrosixfour
Below a certain thickness it is impossible to get bolt on spacers. The only thing you can do is ensure you buy hubcentric spacers that suit the hubs and use a quality spigot ring to suit the wheels if necessary. I use 15mm H&R hubcentric spacers with a 60.1mm centre and 60.1 to 73.3 spigot rings to fit my Works and Volk rims

Zofix
I need a set of 10mm spacers for my rear, nobody make the one Nic showed when the spacers is smaller than 20-25mm.. Is it ok to use 10mm normal spacers aslong as they are hubcentric?
Scott
As long as you get longer studs, yes.
