devan
Hi all, Just wandering if i removed my rear seats, would i be able to fit a rear strut brace and use this to hold the top straps of a pair of harnesses? SPG
I reckon this could be a tad dangerous in an accident matey

barneybrendan
i was under the impression that harnesses without a cage are dangerous in a roll.reason being the diagonal belts are designed so in aroll you have lateral movement meaning your head is thrown side to side, not getting crushed by the roof.with harness on you dont have that movement in a roll ,hence head will not be moving away from the roof as is caves in. i read this on a site somewhere ,thats why i havnt fitted my harnesses. pbryant_knight
That sounds logical there barneybrendan. If you're going to remove the rear seats thought you may as well fit the roll bar/cage for extra safety. Peter
