Well after much debate I thought sod it do it.

So after having them delivered from a very nice chap at "Madmotors" for a good price IMO. We headed straight for the body shop.

My car is lowered by 40mm so I guessed the rear clearence would be an issue..... It was.

I have a 8.5" front and 10" rear on there. The rear arches needed rolling right back to the edge as they rubbed badly. I suspect with a 9" or 9.5" it would have been fine. Or... if the car wasnt lowered.

Anyways finally got it on and sorted and no rubbing. Some fairly crap pics:

The wheels are Vortex R's. I was worried about all the talk of handling issues. But going from 19's to 20's I didnt really notice any difference other then sharper steering, which doesnt worry me.

I will put up some better pics next week when my bonnet and bumper are changed

Its not so bad.... I did drive over a pothole earlier though and my spine nearly exploded lol But on "normal" roads it seems ok

Just so you know, the 10" rear is not what's causing the issues with arch rubbing, it's the offsets of the wheels. I have 10" rears on mine, and it's lowered on coilovers more than yours, and it doesn't rub at all.

Others on here have even wider rears without needing arch work.

EDIT - car looks awesome though, make sure you clean them vortex R's often, I take it you found out about the corrosion issues during your search.

My ride is crap regardless of where i drive :)

I go over a matchstick and the steering goes to hell and you hear clunking from everywhere:(
