Still looking for a Supra, leaning towards an import now!!!!.

What is the benefit of VVTI cars? Are they more tunable/ better engines?

Cheers

Mate, not to be rude but all this sort of stuff has been covered. Please search.

Anyway, it is slightly more powerful, but is harder to tune due to its rarity. On;y a problem if big mods are planned.

Care to quantify that? ie with the knowledge there are 2x2835GT running VVTi's out there, in the UK. What is a highly modded Supra then...lol ;)

Don't worry about it till you have 700hp and need a cam swap...up till then the stock system is fine and will only be a benefit. And if you could afford to make 700hp in a Supra you could afford the kit to uprate the VVTi system. Have a look at the HKS Valcon for more info.
