044 wiring question

I doubt the stock pump wiring is man enough for the current draw of an 044. When I fit one to my Skyline I'll be using a heavy, relayed, dedicated supply. Ryan will know.

I have twin 044's in my tank and they are run off a dedicated 'variable' power supply. I can't quote the exact figures but the pumps run @ circa 9volts when toodling around town and then they ramp up to more than twice that voltage (circa 22v) when my foot hits the floor.

sorry for the hijack...but how do you find the noise levels from those 2 pumps? (thinking of doing the same install)

i was just wondering is the wiring for the pump on my uk spec any heavier than the j spec as it runs a bigger pump to start with.?

As for the non return valve that comes on the pump can i just put the rubber pipe onto it. I tryied looking at other posts but any i can find dont go into it very well..?
