Guest obi1
Hi, Can anyone point me in right direction, I have TT '96, it has a cobra 7925 alarm and intermittently ( now!!) it simply doesnt start, seems like no power to fuel pump , I dont have car long so unsure whether it could be alarm??? alarm does turn off but unsure if this type of alarm also interferes with fuel pump?( it does prevent car turning over while enabled) , any ideas? Does the supra have a built in immobiliser that cuts out fuel pump? Appreciate any feedback
tony tt
Sounds like the intermitant alarm does the alarm have an immobiliser?? I dont think the supe has a built in immobiliser anyway.
Swampy442
Might be the fuel pump ECU mate, open the diag port in the engine bay, get a paper clip and bridge terminals te1 and fp. That puts the pump in 12v mode. Might not work but worth a go
little num
mine did this half way round llandow and it turned out to be the ignition fuse down by the drivers footwell was blown, even with 12v going to the pump (wire from batt) it didnt want to start, thats when i checked all the fuse's and found that 1 blown, changed it and off we went for another lap. Guest mictt
it sounds like your alarm, the imobaliser not kickin out,as for the car its self havin an immobaliser yes it dose so if the alarms not at fault have the one on the car checked hope that helps.
