jackso11 Posted September 11, 2009 Share Posted September 11, 2009 There is a kind of click from my front passenger side wheel area when I am slowing down, around the 18 mph mark pretty much every time I am breaking. It seems to sound like something moves from one place ot another making the click noise. A few threads mention things that can be loose, does anybody have any pictures of things I could check? I thought at first it could be my suspension but it doesn't seem to be any different if I slam on the breaks or press them gently so I think it is something moving that should't. jackso11 Posted September 11, 2009 Author Share Posted September 11, 2009 haven't inspected anything yet. Will be doing tomorrow morning, thought I would ask for ideas of what to inspect. I thought about the pads moving when I change direction, but it does it even if I slow down until it clicks, then speed up again, slow down it does it again. Guest metalgear2k2 Posted September 11, 2009 Share Posted September 11, 2009 Well I don’t really know alot about soops but I had a very similar thing happen with my Celica, it turned out to be the pads moving in the caliper. The top clips on the the calipers that hold the pad in placewear moving. I stuck them back in place with some very thin trim tape, noise gone.
