Guest Godzillauk
Hi there, Been a long time since i posted here. Ive got a '94 MK4 Supra SZ (i think been that long... the non turbo) Anyways the engine has been a disaster in the car. 3 months after purchase (2 years ago) the head gasket went. got it replaced (dyi job done by me and my dad) and it lasted about 5 months then the damn crank oil seal went. During replacement of that got the head skimmed (which the guy who did it messed up so we got another head...) After that the car simple wouldnt start anymore. Had a spark, new distrib, HT leads, plugs, after that my dad took unwell and i dont have time to work on it or the skill. so its a year later the cars sitting on axel stands. everything else on the car is perfect. bodywork perfect, gearbox perfect, clutch perfect... just the engine is cursed or been redlined and is simply not viable. Can anyone point me to someone i can drag the thing to and get it fixed??? I figure the engine and engine wiring loom is a right off. I would assume a total engine refit including anciliaries as i have said i beleive the engine is cursed. (wish i was joking... ) Any workshops/specialists you can provide are greatly appreciated. Its a damn waste of a car and i would love to see it back on the road and not hovering 2 inches of the garage floor. Thanks for your time!
