If I remember correctly, on my old Sierra, the sidelights were a split filament bulb along with the dipped beam bulb. I can't see why you can't fit a lower wattage bulb in place of your foglight bulb Jay.

I think I'm going to do it that way Kev. It should be pretty easy to wire up anyways. I'll have a look for some twin filament bulbs and I might be able to retain the fog & side or dip & side.

I've got a couple of ideas for a concealed indicator so I think I can pull that exact look off (BTW the guy above used his fog as an indicator, not sure what he did about the sides - unless he has pre-facelift headlights, but he's from Germany anyway so they prolly have different rules).

Ce28n's if I had the money are the one set of wheels I'd absolutely love to have on my car.

9.5" all round ?

nice range of offset available with them too

Yip they are very cool wheels. I'd be running 8.5" or 9" front, 10" or 10.5" rear. Don't tell Jamie but I'm quite taken with the Advan RS at the mo :D, they come in dark gunmetal already (which the CE28N's don't), and are significantly lighter than the SA-70's. They seem the best allrounder based on looks/weight/offsets & price.

It might be worth getting the twin filament bulb connection from a scrap yard, once you know the type of bulb that will fit where the fog light goes. It'll plain sailing after that ;)

Good idea Kev, I'll put that on my long term list, for the short term I'll just replace the fog with side light, I don't think I've ever found it that foggy that a front fog light is essential, TBH in the UK I find it hard to believe a rear fog serves any purpose
