Well i think its time to sell the supra as im just not getting the time to use it, infact it only covered 150 miles between the last mot's!

It's a 95 6 speed manual UK spec, BPU'd and dyno'd 430bhp, has 107k on the clock and has freshly refurb'd wheels with new tyres.

Ive been looking around to guage a price, but there does not seem to be many UK manuals for sale.

so any ideas?

The plate is not for sale with the car

Advertise at 10k if its mint then don't let it go for less than 9 IMO. They are getting rarer and rarer these days, i would say hold out for 10k if the mileage was a little lower. I know these cars can go to the moon and back but it still puts some buyers off and makes them haggle more.

Whatever price you have in mind make sure you add a fair whack on top for the advertised price.

100k high mileage? thats nothing for a car that old. Mine is pushing 150k almost. :p

Very true, i know it, you know it, everyone on this forum knows it.

Hard truth is there are lower mileage examples available though, in comparison that makes this "high mileage".

Its a kick in the nuts but thats life. Over the last 2 years, since i bought a sup, the prices have smashed to the ground.

I bought mine for just over 10k, spent around 5k on it and i reckon i would be doing well to get my 10k back even though i have only done 2k miles.

your right. if your factoring in jspecs. but you will struggle to find many uk specs under 100k

Buyers have the power to factor in what they like in order to get a bargain. We all know how badly supra's have dropped in value, UK's are hit the same as every other variant. The good thing is that they have their own premium, espeically 6spd's.

I wanted a black UK 6spd when i first joined. Ended up with a facelift J-Spec 6spd.

Mainly because it was the better car for the money but partly because i couldn't bloody find one lol. They are worth a premium and the longer time goes on the more that premium will grow.

All IMO of course.

uk cars mostly do have more miles on BUT they have genuine service history to back the miles up, where as most imports dont have good history and have low miles on so make me think they have been clocked or tampered with.

The good thing with euro specs is they can be imported to place'S like germany - france - denmark easy as j-specs cant so that makes them have a better price tag IMO.

I think most of the members on here wanted a uk car but got fed up with waiting and bought a J-SPEC, when i put up a wanted for a uk 6sp almost all the replies was - you will be luckly - but about amonth after popped up a silver uk 6sp so i bought it.
