Nics N/A mainfold.

Hi!

Do any one know where can I buy it? I know it was on ebay some time ago but now when i got some cash it's gone. I tryed to contact to Nic by email but no answer so far.

Yes i know about it from amazon. It will cost about 255 wit delivery but you will need to do some fabrication with it. As it's made for LHD cars.

Have a look for an Autobahn 88 manifold.

A few on here had to do minor fabrication to get it to fit and some havent had do do any fabrication.

Mine fitted no problems and is perfect

Is there anywhere i can get the Autobahn 88 manifold other than US websites?

Also what is considered the better manifold out of the two? The Autobahn or the OBX?

I'd assume from the reviews the Autobahn is the better choice?

I've just picked one up, can anyone tell me in more detail what kind of modification i need to do to it to get it to fit a RHD car? Cheers

I believe it's one (or both) of the o2 sensor mounts that foul the steering column. There was a post about it earlier in the year.

Oh dear. I bought one of these from Nic a while ago after being told it only needed slight modification. In the end the garage had to bend it so much to avoid the steering column I ended up binning it.

Hummm i've heard some people have a nightmare with these and some have them go straight on without worries.

I guess they all vary slightly in shape/angle when they are manufactured.

Oh well i'll see whats what when it turns up

Was quite a while ago but I think about £300. The garage got it on in the end but they'd had to bend it and squash it so much that one of the pipes was down to probably half it's original cross sectional area. They said because of the reduced gas flow there was a chance of the cylinder over heating. Wasn't a risk I was willing to take. Also it was ridiculously loud

Yes i am a little worried how loud this system will be once finished

May need to fashion a silencer or two...

I had one of Nic's. I had to double up the gasket to clear the column but that was all. It worked fine too, no blowing etc.

I have an autobaahn 88 on my supra, the only thing i had to do was re drill the stud hole pattern as they were slightly out of line due to the holes being different sizes. Also my supra is very loud as it has no cats and only the back box

Yep exactly the same with mine, just filed out the holes slightly

It's the actual pipework that fouls the steering column where the 3 pipes go into 1, this is pic of one of mine fitted.
