Hi paul
We got your KAD kit front and rear ,im fitting it tomorrow.
Lovely bit of kit.
But there are no instructions.
The calipers have different size pistons.
1.if you look form the side at the mounted caliper does the big piston go nearest the floor or the top.?
2.The discs are also directional which way round as people are telling me different things.?
3.The silver H pattern shims do they go on top of the pads.?
4.why did we get dot 4 brake fluid instead of 5.1 as it says on the web site.
Ive asked all these questions of KAD but they dont seem to want to answer.

Hi Darren, shouldn't really need instructions, its pretty straight forward once you get going on it.
Nipples will be at the top of the caliper
You should be able to see which way the discs go round on here http://www.apracing.com/car/brakedisc/index.htm

It doesn't say anything about 5.1?

Caliper answer ok.
Discs answer ok .(but they should say on them as not everybody knows)
Why should you have to check another site for answers.
No answer on Silver H shim?
Im not stupid i can work most of it out but no instuctions for the budding DIY man is a bit poor.
KAD Not answering my emails is a bit poor.
And not getting my 5.1 as stated at the bottom of brake upgrades on the www.Kad-uk.com site is a bit poor.
Lets hope they live upto there looks.

Silver H shim you'll see how they fit when they are installed, its pretty much self explanatory....
Not all companies respond to emails quickly, have you tried the old fashioned way?
I'll get on to KAD about the fluid for you tomorrow if you like? First I knew about the 5.1 coming with the kits....
