Spoiler off?

I have a roof spoiler on my new car, which is coming off, and a small patch of rust on the boot lid.

I have been toying with the idea of going spoilerless so might aswell do it all at once. Just wondered if anyone who has driven spoilered and spoilerless noticed any difference in handelling? I am sure toyota must have thought the car needed the extra downforce for a reason...right?

Spoilerless cars do look great IMO, the Supra's clean allow them to look great without the spoiler.

As mentioned above, obviously the spoiler is fitted for a reason. With modest speeds you should be OK I assume but spoilers etc generally start working from as little as around 50mph, so if you're going to be going fast it may be best to leave it in place.

It was an optional extra originally on the J-spec though (i think?)
