Just a quick "Thanks" to all that helped with my Supra project by buying stuff from my garage clear out, all these funds went towards the paint job and she's now painted and looks great, (Hope you agree) Supra not finished but at least looks the part.

Underside and engine detailing next.

Difficult to comment on the paint without seeing it in person but the paint looks quite flat/dull in the pics, especially the bonnet, but it's nothing that a proffesional with a machine polisher couldnt sort out :)

If your happy then that's cool, but I reckon it could be a heap load better :)

Looks great to me but my eye isn't trained (It's a vvt )

Ask Peter Richards for his opinion, he's an old pro (at machine polishing etc!)

Don't let the bubble burst on this though, as long as there aren't any runs or paint on window seals etc, then well done I say ;)

yep it's nothing major at all, almost every paint job that i've seen could always do with some improvement, just think, if you think it looks great now imagine how amazing it'll look with a pro detailer working their magic on it :)

good job mate.

ive also got a black TT which has loads of swirl marks and light scratches.

im thinking of getting it either polished with some compound or a respray.

any advice? any recomendation and links to any specialist please

Hi,

The only advice I can give is go on reccommendation and strip the car yourself, these car are getting old and I find a lot of parts get damaged trying to remove them, so break them yourself then find the parts while re-spray ongoing.
