jackso11
I am used to a Clifford G5 and have use it for the past 4 years. New car has a LASERLINE 213 THATCHAM 1. Is it worth upgrading? Opinions on a post card please (or here, whichever is easiest)
michael
Spray it! It's worth upgrading if someone manages to steal the car because it has the current alarm maybe, probably not worthwhile if someone doesn't steal it. What do you think? Ian W
It's a Cat1 alarm at the end of the day, I wouldn't bother if I were you.
DSK
brand wise the clifford is better, but as mentioned, if the current unit is CAT1 certified, no point on spending another £250+ or so to have anew CAT1 installed unless you are going to pay extra to have the extra features that you can add onto clifford alarm systems. Sorry, that makes no sense at all to me. As for it being a thatcham 1, gues you guys are right. Maybe I should wait and if I want anything else like remote boot or windows, go for the clifford at the same time.
