hoff
Just wondering if they are worth it?
Matt H
What are they?
hoff
They lift the back of the bonnet up to allow hot air to escape, to aid cooling of the engine.
Matt H
Ah right. How about some vents?
hoff
I may go for a new bonnet when the money is there, hopefully a whifbitz one. But for now I was thinking of these to help a little. I know a few guys who use them on their drift cars. They though give the cars some stick rather than a spirited drive.
michael
Do you have a problem with cooling at the moment?
hoff
Do you have a problem with cooling at the moment? Good question. I dont have a problem, so it would be more of an addition to a normal situation.

JamieP
Did mine for suprapod just to let some heat escape, just use longer bolts and a few washers, raised mine about 15mm.

That would probably be the way I'd do it I think. At least to see the effects for the odd spirited drive. I do agree, it's not a pretty look IMHO. Though drift cars can pull most looks off. hoff
I like the way it looks with a lifted bonnet tbh, maybe im a chav:D No question mate:p I've not seen a supra bonet with them TBH and picturing it didn't look great in my head:d I'll have a look through the pod pics to see if I spot a good pic of yours. My girlfriends brother has them on his S14 and I liked them, on his S13 I didn't.
