HJM
Lost my engine undertray (2nd one in) last week on track at Zandvoort at 120mph Just wanted to know pros and cons of having one on or off the Supra ??? Notice a fair bit more road noise at higher speeds when blatting across Europe. Tray is only damaged around some of the fixing holes, so assume shouldn't be too difficult to refit ? SteveR
I think it dramatically affects the airflow under the car and also through the engine bay (e.g. for cooling & cool air intake). However I took mine off ages ago (done 3 track days since) and despite intending to, I still haven't put it back.
Guigsy
mine came off (front pat ripped out) on the way to ace cafe and we fastened it back up with cable ties. But it just came off again later. Car was so low i had to get the garrage to put it up on a ramp. And then most of the bolts were siezed with rust. Just ripped it off and dont bother now. Same happened with my NA
