little num Posted August 7, 2009 Share Posted August 7, 2009 Afternoon all i have just had my new windscreen fitted by Auto windscreens and must say what a fab job the guy did, The screen that came out was an original toyota (stamped bottom right corner) so i was a little disserpointed as i was going to have a new screen fitted thinking it was going to be some copie, turns out its also an original toyota so i was suprised to say the least, then he pulls out a new rubber and again in a toyota bag, now for £60 and he put plenty of glue round and cleaned all under the old window i thought it was a cracking job and deal. Well the only 2 time's ive followed him anywere i get hit with bricks 1 round local 2 us and the worst was at the ring, some crap focus rs decided to go for a drive in the cravel then was really clever and dropped it all on the racing line, you can see where im going with this, yep simon picks about 5 stones up and shoots then stright at me 3 hit the screen making some nice cracks and hole's. To be fair it was showing its age with lots of spidering and small chips all over it, now i get inthe car and cant even tell there is a screen fitted, another £60 well spent.
