Supra Specialist in North East?

Afternoon all.. :)

I've been prowling around the search results for a while now as I'm looking for an import/Supra specialist garage in or around the North East. As expected, Envy Performance popped up a few times, but this is a touchy subject and I'd rather avoid their services thanks to their reputation of recent months.

I'm actually based in Teesside and wanting the clutch replacing on my NA, along with a few other jobs here and there, all oils, bushes etc. Possibly a fresh coating of Waxoyl while I'm at it.

I know of Motoscope, based in Northallerton, but does anyone have any advice or recommendations? A friend of mine took his FTO to FRD in Middlesbrough, but didn't rate their service at all.

I apologise if this is in the wrong forum. Thought it would go down as general chat rather than a technical query. :)

Again, thanks for the advice. And Jay, I'll leave you to sort your quibbles with Motoscope! ;)

Jurgen, I won't be wanting the work done for another month or so, Zante in 4 weeks so need to save moneys for the holiday. But it's top on my to do list upon my return. I'll be sure to give you a call in the near future and hope you can be of assistance. :)

I would recommend him on reputation alone although I would make sure you are 100% happy before taking your car any where.

Yeah, it goes without say. Not long bought the car so want the work doing by someone who knows their Supra's inside and out. :)

Clutch itself doesn't need replacing, but the thrust bearing is making quite the howl and rather have it done for peace of mind. Will still be running the clutch it was built with all those years ago, so it wouldn't hurt to have a fresh one, along with complete oil transfusions. :)
