Guest youngin_f_l
Just come back from Darlington after watching Newcastle demolish Darlo 7-2 (LOL) took my mum up to focus to get some concrete, driving up, noticed a nice squeeking coming from my clutch! This is probably common problem, but any assurance would be nice...
RobD
I had mine on the ramp at work today with the same problem as it goes , it could be where the slave connects with the clutch fork , where the clutch fork pivots on the ball inside the bell housing or if its like mine, its squeeking on the first motion shaft where the release bearing slides, which is a box out job, if you cant live with it! I managed to spray the tinyest bit of lube on the part where the clutch fork pivots by easing away the boot going around the clutch fork, its eased it and not noticeable when driving no more and it has given me almost a softer pedal, but when the engine is off you can still hear it a little! When we change clutches at work we use spline and hub grease that toyota says to use so I would imagine its lacking that! Its not worrying me to much at the moment and it can wait until the twin turbo engine goes in to be rectified! Hope this helps!
