original 16" wheels - keep or sell ?

I was just about to sell the 16" originals that I took off a couple of weeks ago, having treated the car to a nice new set of 18".

Are they worth much ? they are not in great nick, lots of pavement attacks etc. Or is it better to keep them for winter wear ?

What do you lot do ?

If they were 17" OEM and in good nick then i would say sell them as thats what i did but there not so keep them for winter wheels if i were you as i dont think you would get much for them

You could sell them to me depending on the condition/brand of tyres.

I paid £50 for some good condition 16" wheels with tyres, so I doubt yours are worth a great deal.

I would burn them....literally

Good for a track day

..or if you want to experience the level of handling Toyota intended

oh keep them with some old tyres, a try to get yourself on a drift school day happy in the knowledge its not fresh rubber getting destroyed.

thanks for your replies, one thing i forgot to mention is the 9" nail in one of the rear tyres, which has gone all the way through & rubbed away some of the inside of the sidewall, so not repairable

I might get a "cheap" set of rears for winter use, but by the sound of it that would be more than the wheels are worth !

I haven't done any track days, any recommendations not too far from London ?
