L33
was thinking about doing this as a winter project? im really not sure i love the look of them but its if i want to shed with the money? what do people here think?
martini
If it's done properly, I think it looks fantastic and I would love it.
bigbloodyturbo
Done with no expense spared they look ok, anything else alsways looks naff. The wheels would have to be right as all the ones you see in this country always have the wrong wheels. IMHO a trd widebody would look more subtle and a lot sexier. L33
yea i agree, not a fan of "kitted supras" but there is some thing about the top secret kit that just looks immense. i would either spray my car to match the current flip paint or go for a nice blue? L33
IMHO a trd widebody would look more subtle and a lot sexier. i seen a pic of that and didnt really like it. not really going for subtle dont really like any thing trd apart from the spoilers
SupraGirlie
Not keen on the TS kit, but if you want a wide kit, it has to be TRD.
SupraGirlie
i seen a pic of that and didnt really like it. not really going for subtle dont really like any thing trd apart from the spoilers It's no way subtle if you see one up close! It looks awesome. Edited July 7, 2009 by SupraGirlie (see edit history)

SupraGirlie
Oh and didn't you love this stunning Supra?
L33
must just be me but i really dont like it? hardly looks wide either. thing is the ts looks mental but i just think the money it would cost to fit and spray, i could have some decent brakes/suspension? i want the show car look but really not sure! just think it would complement my new single install as its show and go? im really stuck and cant decide
benkei
Not keen on the TS kit, but if you want a wide kit, it has to be TRD. I have to 100% disagree with you. The TRD front bumper is by far one of the most hideous to ever deface a Supra! If you're going wide, it has to be Top Secret, like this one. And clarifying what bigbloodyturbo said... you HAVE to go all out on it, no cheaper options or short cuts, unless you want to ruin the whole car. L33
well its a replia kit i was going to buy?
benkei
You could even go ALL OUT, and copy this one!
Scott
I don't like any of the wide body's, they just look like fat supra's to me. If there was a change of lights involved with the kit then it would possibly look OK.
Scott
You could even go ALL OUT, and copy this one! Get out of my head.
L33
see again i dont like that top secret one either!!
benkei
Custom? Could take a kit you like, add some arches and widen it out? Add some vents and wicked styling and make your own supercar... or SUPRAcar
Holden1989
TRD with defined arches for me, but then i am biased, i also love that red top secret one just think that the rear standard wing looks silly Either one you do, make sure u plough alot of money into it, otherwise it'l be guarenteed to look crap imo
Scott
Don't go wide, overfenders
L33
ive decided im not going to do it i really want to but the more i think about it the more money i would be wasting instead of upgrading important factors, like the brakes and suspension. was even considering a roll cage. with the expected 600 bhp my car will have making it safe and not cutting corners is more important than a body kit and looks. thanks any way
benkei
I'm glad you've decided to go with perfomance rather than styling. You could always keep this as an idea for another time when you have looked into it a little more?
L33
thing is my dad is a sprayer so spraying would be cheap, fitting wont be a huge amount, was offered the kit for under 2k so i know its not huge amounts but just take 2k alone, thats a very nice set of brakes/roll cage/suspension
