Really sorry guys, but I seem to be very busy this summertime and not able to commit myself to any particular weekend at the moment.

If things were quieter I would definitely have put something up by now.

Nick, if you'd like to organise something then please by all means feel free to do so.

I do have some ideas on possible routes and I'd be happy to help out with the organising if required. And if it happens that I am free on the particular weekend then I'll surely be there.

The 16th August is the Haigh Hall show day here in Wigan, so much of the N/West lot will be at the Show :taped: well im thinking they will :D

Cheers

1. Clarkmagpie (nick) - TVR Griff or Alfa GTV

2. Animal - N/A Supra

3. AJI - UK TT6 Supra or EVO6 RSII (pencilled in pending free weekend - looks like a good date for now)

4. Tom S company car, might be VW, might be a Ford or hopefully a Toyota

Nick, got any likely routes yet?

I took a trip up the Maryport-Silloth road a few weeks back, its a nice scenic route by the sea. Silloth has a big parking field area that can accommodate plenty cars.

There was a TVR meet happening when I went through last time ;)

Only problem is that its a bit away from the lakes, although the route to get there would take you past Bassenthwaite.

I havent had a chance to think about it yet.

I dont know that side of Cumbria at all.

Will have to spend a sunny sunday blasting around the country looking for some spectacular bits of road - sounds fun :)
