Hello everybody, i need some advice!!!

I have a jap import tt with jap sized number plates, which are illegal. I've changed the front no worries, but the back is a problem. When i took the old no plate off there is a big hole in the bumper. Any ideas how i can get round this whilst keeping on the straight & narrow with the law!!!!!!!!!!!

Cheers phill

yeh even the front plates...by law you are allowed to have a plate the same size as the plate holder on the jap sup....tells you on the dvla website somewhere....even the police dont know that so i used to keep a copy in the glovebox! :D

Not quite. :)

Certain imported vehicles may be permitted to display number plates with smaller characters if:

The vehicle's construction/design cannot accomodate standard size number plates.

No excuses for not having full size plates on the Supra.

I had a small one on the front and a double space on the rear which I got pulled over for so I fitted legal plates, you soon get accustomed to the size and you feel less vulnerable when a police car is following. :eyebrows:
