what would be the best for me to do?

Why not just buy a TT?

 

because i already have it and it is an export mkiv and where i live i cant find an export mkiv for a good price. so thats why i would like to do an engine swap. like this i wanted to order an japanese supra rz and swap the engines and the gearboxes and then sell the japanese supra with the n/a engine in it

I agree with the fact you're devaluing both cars by swapping motors... I you compared an imported JDM supra with mismatched motor, tranny, seats, etc with a domestic market supra in original condition with all matched parts, guess which one is worth way more? Anyway, why not just import the engine if you want to do that instead of trying to buy it, swap and sell the JDM one turboless... You'd be taking a hit in the wallet either way.. I'd say if you want to maintain your car's value, and waste less time/effort, just upgrade your N/A to turbo with a kit (unless you could just find a turbo supra for a decent price to begin with).

he will spend WAY more turboing the na with a kit.

A kit is £3000 minimum without mapping and labour and all the other countless extras. itll be the cost of another car by the time its properly done.

A TT transplant will only cost £3000 or so and at the end of the day be more reliable than a single.

Also, putting a single turbo on an NA engine is nowhere near such a "known quantity" as running a 2JZGTE engine. IMO NA-T is OK if you really really like tinkering with engines, but if you just want a car that just works, I'd recommend the stock TT every time.

yeah i just want my supra to go fast to run like 13 sec or 12 sec om 1/4 but i want to do it the easiest way and the way that i would spend less money
