the car was having some boost problems in the past few weeks second turbo was coming late around 4200/300 rpm.

the problem now is, it revs fine up to around 2800rpm but i can't rev anymore than that,

it starts cutting and doesn't pass 3000rpm!!

i have checked all the vacuum pipes, intercooler etc etc, and nothing is lose or split!

could this be the VSV EBV gone?

please really need help on this one!

Had teh same thing happen on my Volvo T5 but that wouldn't rev past 4,000rpm. After much intensive diagnostics etc, it turned out to be a £38 part, Control Boost Valve/Boost Control Solenoid (which ever you prefer to call it). This clips to the side of the air box on the volvo, not sure where it is located in the Supra.

can anyone help me on this one?

i have by mistake plugged the vacuum pipe in the wrong side of the waste gate vsv, could this damage the vsv?

i have done the same thing on the EGVB vsv :(

it will damage the VSV's if you plug the pipes in the wrong place?

when it gets to around 3000 rpm it's like a fuel cut it doesn't past the 3000 rpm mark!
