SupraGirlie
(for now) Because I just got back from AFR, it had a Greddy 3-row FMIC and a boost controller fitted and turned up to 1.2 bar :d:d:d I think I just fell in love with it again!! It made a HUGE difference, feels like a different car, it had the stock SMIC on before and running just under 1.1 bar, I never thought it would make so much of a difference! Also, why does my BOV sound so different now? I also get a loud chatter I never got before? Its just sounds alot louder in general too! At the moment the FMIC is sitting really high up, but I plan to have it moved down, anyone else have a Greddy FMIC with Top Secret front they could post pics up of? DSK
Pictures! and costs please! Obvioulsy there would be a difference as I understand the air from the FMIC is denser (better) flowing to the turbo(s). With teh boost controller again upping the boost a touch or two etc will make a noticeable difference. What is the difference you are experiencing? (more throttle response, better/smoother/sharper mid range etc?) This is something I'm looking into towards Xmas as a treat to myself along with a BPU, but will be seeking advice just prior and then contacting the likes of Garage786/Garage Whifbitz etc for the work and look at booking a day or two off work. Carl_S
It is a different car. You just re-invented it. Well done and have fun rediscovering it.

I notice a huge acceleration increase as I get to 1.1+ bar, it pulls alot better, it's just a lot quicker!! It is practically the difference between stock and BPU lol I am thinking about turning the gain up slightly Just a couple of % I think. Just took these pics... I just asked Dude about the noise, he said because of the induction noise from the air filter - they had to put a HKS mushroom air filter on as the stock airbox won't fit now! I am hopefully buying an Apexi filter this weekend though so it's not staying on!

SupraGirlie
So does it look really strange with the intercooler sitting so high?
jon5698
I don't think it looks strange but you wont be getting the best effects with it being up that bit higher and with your number plate in front of it. Glad you are keeping it though it is stunning

Glad you are keeping it though it is stunning Yeah that's what I thought too, I'll need to get more / different pipes or something if I want to have it moved down. Personally I think Dude should do it free of charge seeing as he loves working on my car so much
RobSheffield
Looks similar to how mine looks although i have the Do-luck front.

SupraGirlie
Wow. Bulb, battery terminal, OD light:p Are you sure you want to keep it? Haha, as long as nothing serious goes wrong with this one, I'll still love her The OD light is really bugging me, only does it occasionally, must be something to do with when Dude fitted my boost controller and messed with all the wires lol
