Wrong brake discs?!

hey guys

as you may of read my thread the other day about the ticking noise from the front drivers side.

well i took the wheel off today and whilst checking the pads found they were pretty low and also a strange bumping noise when i spun the disc round and happened just as the groove past the pad, (if you get me)

the guy before me changed the discs to drilled and grooved.

i measured the disc and to me they look a bit too big, they measured 32mm width and the pads rub quite alot on the disc even in neutral.

is this normal or should i think about getting some new discs aswell as pads ?

thanks for any help

ahh ok then , that helps a little bit but still i dont think there supposed to tick even when not applying the brakes.

iv just seen a piccy of normal jspec brakes and they look the same (apart from the drilled and grooved bit) so i think it must be the low pads that are making the noise, iv got the pads already so will have a go at changing tomoz.
