Andy Blyth Posted June 18, 2009 Share Posted June 18, 2009 I wonder if anyone can help me find a particular thread. I remember reading it some months ago, maybe last year. It had photographs of a turbo inlet hose that had ballooned inwards, reducing the area of the hose significantly. The particular hose I'm referring to goes between the first 'Y' piece after the airbox and the cast pipe that joins to the 1st turbo compressor housing. Hopefully this diagram makes it clearer: The reason I'm looking is I've just taken this hose out of my car and it has significantly deformed inwards, whilst looking fine from the exterior. I want to see what the symptoms this poster was experiencing. I've been searching for well over an hour with no luck. Any pointers would be very gratefully received.
