paul mac
I know this is a question that comes up regular so thought i would post my thoughts for peoples reference, just got a pair of 275/35/18 Goodyear Eagle FI assymetrics for the rear. The tyres are now "scrubbed" in and wow what a difference they are a country mile better than the Falkens i had and definately better than the Toyo T1S i have had, full throttle standing start is a lot quicker with no "snaking", rolling start straight line acceleration is drama less with very little "chirping"and i can get the power down far earlier out of corners, i have even notched the RLTC down to 15% slip from dry and it doesn't cut in half as much. The only down side seems to be a little rear end vagueness but i'm putting that down to newness or my lousy geometry, they definately have a larger footprint than the same size Falkens and are rubbing a bit with the power on out of a corner so its out with the angle grinder this afterternoon . Cheapest i found them was Camskill for £177, no idea what their like in the wet as i dont go out in the rain but in the dry for a road tyre i think these would take some beating, highly recommended
imi
thats a good price, i couldnt find them that cheap so ended up with gsd3s again - new rubber makes all the difference.
Carl_S
I'm no tyre connosieur and I'm only an average driver in terms of skill, but I am very pleased with my pirelli p-0's and cannot sing their praises more loudly.
