Maybe you know this already, but best not to drive it with the fan out of balance.

You'll only end up breaking something else....:)

Very true, problem is its my only car, and the engine only seems to vibrate when she warms up propper, i can get to work and back on a cold engine ;)

Before you replace it maybe worth finding the cause to the failures as it maybe something else causing these fans to fail, I dont see to may that break elsewhere

Yeah, i think I know the cause of the problem, a fitting was loose on the cone filter which already sits very close to the blades, i think it knocked it. Ooh and I broke the first one while parking in the corner of a wall... who wouldaa though!

Do Toyota still make em? i tried calling Steve Manly but hes not back till tomorrow. Kinda worried cause I need to drive to Bournmouth this weekend too!

Stupid question but could I break off the adjacent fin? would it balance up at all? is there an adjacent fin or are they odd numbered?
