What's this worth?

I'm weighing up my options due to yet another problem with this car, interested in what others feel this would be worth (I don't think it's a lot).

Engine Specifications:

Stock 2JZ-GE (low pressure on cylinder 5)

Fuel, Tuning & ECU:

Stock

Exhaust:

Stock

Drivetrain:

W58 5 speed manual

Locked diff

SPEC Stage 1 Clutch

Weight Reduction & Transfer:

Interior removed from rear half of car

Carpet removed

1316kg without driver & 1/2 tank of fuel

Suspension, Wheels, Tires & Brakes:

Stock 17" alloys

Stock toyota-bilstein coilovers

Stock 2pot/1pot brakes

Goodrich braided lines

CW Fast Road pads

Goodyear F1 tyres

Interior & ICE:

Stock seats/dash/surround remain

ICE removed

Exterior:

Stock plastics, not the best fit.

Rust on the edges of the doors and a spot on the boot.

Car has had a spray over, there are dents under the paint and marks from where the previous body kit has worn the paint away.

Performance:

Non-existent at the minute

Other:

Engine has new spark plugs/cam belt, and new water pump attached - could be re-used on a replacement engine

Thanks for your time. :)

In the current state, not a lot mate :( I woulnd't like to say a price as it would be very low.

With a knacked engine not much id say, with how cheap them lumps can be picked up for it may be better to bung another in.

Yep, you can get NA engines for a £100-£250 so it'd be far more cost effective to drop one in, clean it up a bit and sell it for market value.

Is this the one thats at Silverstone at the moment? Suspect missfire?

I drove it yesterday to try and get it to missfire, and it wouldnt. Tried everything. Was actually quite impressed by how it drove!

Unless the guys have found something today?

That's the one. Steve said he'd had some trouble getting it to act up, but found that the pressure was low on the 5th cylinder. It's the usual case when you take it to a garage!

I've only heard the misfire when it's hot & idling. It just tends to lack power or feel completely wrong above 4,000rpm, though sometimes goes perfectly. :taped: Definitely not right.

It does handle very nicely, just getting sick of putting money into it. :(

lol 17's are only fetching £150 at the mo so i stick by my original offer:p

I would guesstimate £500 due to some of the interior missing etc and the body work issues. Cheap enough to chuck a new lump in and run on the track maybe, but sounds like getting it suitable for road use and a car to be proud of would be expensive.

Good luck if you do sell, I would imagine ebay would be good for this motor to reach it's full potential value.
